The results of the work on improving the investment climate and the task of creating conditions for the further development of the Don business, the governor of the Rostov region Vasily Golubev announced in his fifth investment message.

November 30, in the framework of the V International Conference on Foreign Economic Activities in the Subjects of the Russian Federation, which was held in Rostov-on-Don, the Governor made an investment message. It was heard by more than 1000 participants of the forum.

As the head of the region noted, efforts to improve the business climate have brought results. The availability of borrowed capital for small and medium-sized businesses has increased. There are several regional instruments that allow businesses to receive loans at 5-7% per annum. Among them are the regional funds for the support of industry and leasing created from scratch, an updated business support agency. A regional procurement portal for small and medium-sized businesses was developed and implemented, with 1,300 suppliers already. The total number of business inspections has been reduced by 20%, on the municipal level - by half. There are 23 multifunctional centers for business.

Vasily Golubev also outlined the priority tasks for 2018: the reduction of energy costs for business and the development of alternative energy, the creation of an infrastructure for entrepreneurs and the optimization of forms of state support for business, the development of investment-attractive territories and public-private partnerships, the introduction of a risk-oriented approach in the control and supervisory activities and the renovation of public administration.

Recall, the practice of investing - the appeal of the governor Vasily Golubev to the business community of the region and government - was introduced in July 2013. The purpose of the governor's investment message is to inform the participants of investment processes about the key measures planned by the regional authorities to improve the investment climate.
