In Rostov will be the V International Conference "Foreign Economic Activity as a Factor of Effective Development of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises in Subjects of the Russian Federation"

November 30 - December 1, 2017 in Rostov on Don will be held V International Conference "Foreign Economic Activity as a Factor of Effective Development of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises in the Subjects of the Russian Federation".

The sanctions applied by various countries to Russia led, on the one hand, to restrictions on activities in many markets, but, on the other hand, they opened up new opportunities and directions for foreign economic activity, and also expanded the opportunities for opening and developing industries for Russian business on the domestic market.

As a result, many small and medium-sized enterprises, including innovative and high-tech, began to consider new markets (the Asia-Pacific region, Latin America, etc.) as a serious strategic alternative to development. This is facilitated by the program of state support of small and medium business in the field of foreign economic activity: serious practical work was done to expand the potential of economic cooperation of Russian enterprises, improve mechanisms in the sphere of state regulation of foreign trade activities, reduce administrative barriers to the export of goods, form the infrastructure of support and development of Russian export companies for federal and regional levels.

At present, the activities aimed at the development of exports of small and medium-sized enterprises in Russia require an active build-up of export potential at the level of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, strengthen coordination of all structures interested in export development and stimulate the export activities of enterprises with the maximum use of those tools and opportunities provided by relevant development institutions and infrastructure organizations.

In this regard, among the main themes of the Conference, it is possible to single out for discussion issues related to stimulating and involving in export activities those small and medium-sized enterprises that have sufficient potential and competitive products, the implementation of the first steps to enter international markets, the expansion of access to long-term financing for beginning and operating exporters, the positioning of Russian products in general in global markets, the growing role of institutions organizations.

Subjects of the Conference, tasks and directions of its work fully correspond to the priorities of the state program of support and development of small and medium-sized businesses, as well as the National Entrepreneurship Initiative implemented by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives for Promotion of New Projects.
